Repetition/Distract is an archival project organised by Felix to document the work of his invisible cat. Her music is created on travels to places like the Krim peninsula, Tangier, Caracas or Halifax, in the solitude of run-down hotel rooms, usually in the early morning hours with the windows wide open to let in the wind and the rain. Utilizing an assortment of clunky machinery, a primitive drum computer, accordeon and the sounds you can find in the throats of seashells down by the freight harbour she makes music that is noisy yet fragile. Brittle overtones of a gently distorted drone backdrop sing in and out of tune with small melody fragments in these not-at-home-recordings, which have been attributed to Dostoevskian (haha :D) characteristics.

Old Weevil Neighbourhood
Old Weevil Neighbourhood is a sort of
homespun musique concrete, the source material was gathered from various
recording sessions, which was subsequently manipulated and edited into a
four piece electro-acoustic composition. Grey drones are combined with
melodic fragments, everyday environmental sounds drift through
synthesizer improvisations and the crackle of unstable digital
processing. The result is a skewed look into a landscape of gentle noise
and rich timbres.
Released on C45 cassette by the new label Weevil Neighbourhood.
Not Even In Sleep
This little album contains 6 drifting tracks recorded back in 2005/06. Finally released by Minor on cdr with quite nice looking packaging, hand assembled DIY style.

Peripheral Geometries
Five tracks recorded in autumn/winter/spring 2006/07. Released by the canadian No Type label in November 07 as a free download. Someone described this very nicely as "from a Fellini film from the future, under water" :D
V.A. - Boring Music Vol. III (mixed by Sven Swift)
12rec label head Sven Swift included A Visitor for Mr. Merrick... orginally on the Recordings 07/2004 - 05/2005 album, in this mixtape-style compilation. Great set of tracks from various (mostly electronic) styles, well worth the download.
Recordings 07/2004 - 05/2005
The first volume of published material was originally just a small edition of ca. 20 copies on spraypainted cdr in handmade cardboard cases, given out as a gift to friends and enemies. It was later released as an mp3 album on the plainaudio label. The whole album is available for free download.
